So, today was another running day with Ingrid. I woke up at 6:45 am and took my water and granola bar and jogged to Ingrid's. We stretched for a bit and then started running. We ran to Bernardo Middle School and back, which sums up to 6 and something miles. We stopped once or twice, but we still kept going. The way from Bernardo to back is easier since we were going down.
I got this picture from FLICKR. I don't know why I like it but it involves running. When I run, it feels like no one can catch me or touch me. I feel so free! If I just keep pushing, I can go anywhere. And after I am done, I feel like I can concur the world.
I googled some reasons why people love running and these are my favorite:
"I love running because I get to explore. I am free to go wherever I want - to see closely new cities, neighbourhoods, developments whatever. Running allows you to have long and in depth conversations - ones that can only happen on the road …. with people you might normally not speak with. My running allows me to explore the limits of my own body - to see what it is truly capable of."- Erin
“Running — I love to be out in the quiet crisp of of the morning to see the sun come and welcome the new day. Gives me freedom, strength, a good heart and a clear mind for whatever will come my way.”— Mark
